Congratulations to Juvenile Chairman Adrian Mc Naughton and his team of helpers who were involved with yet another very successful Juvenile Presentation night in the Glens Hotel. Almost 200 young members and 40 Guests and Mentors were treated to Dinner and our thanks again go to Martin and the Staff at The Glens Hotel for looking after us so well.
Keeping with recent tradition we again had a Special Guest - 6 time All Ireland & Double All Star winner - Richie Power from Carrickshock and Kilkenny. It was a pleasure and an honour having Richie at our awards night.
The successful teams, and players who won individual awards, were presented with their Trophies, medals and certificates.
The many young dancers rocking the dance floor brought a smile to everyones face. Thanks to DJ's Thomo & Ann Marie, who really hit the bullseye with their choice of music.
But the surprise of the night was that our Camogie Club were awarded Antrim Camogie Club Of The Year and Sarah Kane also collected Antrim Camogie Player of the Year. A super double for our camogs and its great that all the hard work going into the Camogie Club have been both recognised and rewarded.
On Saturday 17th November, again in The Glens Hotel, its the turn of our Senior Clubs. Tickets are on sales in Kearneys and must be paid for by 12pm on Saturday so as we can give numbers to the caters.
We hope to have photos loaded soon. If anyone has any photos they would like to share please contact Martin Magee or Colum Thompson
