U-16 Match Report

 Cushendall travelled to Armoy looking to keep momentum going with the McMullan Cup on the horizon and duly delivered what they set out to do.  Paddy Joe Graham got Glenshesk off the mark with a neat point from 40 yards.  Christy McNaughton immedietley replied with a point for the 'Dall and when midfielder Niall McNaughton lofted over a point for Ruairi Ogs from 50 yards, Cushendall were never behind again.  Christy McNaughton added a goal, Pearse Bannon added a point, Niall McNaughton with another point and when Christy McNaughton added another goal Glenshesk were dead and buried.

Cormac McClafferty slotted over a long free for the Ruairi Ogs and then Jack McAlister scored a great goal when a high ball into the Glenshesk penalty area and with a delicate flick of the wrists, planted the ball into the bottom right hand corner of the net.  Paddy Joe Graham added a free for Glenshesk to stop the rot.  Christy McNaughton added a further 3 points, 1 from play and 2 from set pieces and there was just time for Cormac McClafferty to raise a white flag to leave the half time score:

 Cushendall Sub Daniel McAlister knocked over an exquisite point after great play by Ruairi Og wing Half Joe McCurry.  Niall McNaughton added another great point from play and Cormac McClafferty added 2 good points from play for the young Ruairi's.  Eoin Hill added another point for Glenshesk and there was time for James McLaughlin to raise Cushendalls and the final score of the game to leave the full time score:
