"In the few short years in which he graced our hurling fields he made quite an impression on those who saw him play.”
Today marks the 30th Anniversary since the passing of young John Darragh, who at 14 years old with his great passion for hurling, left behind memories and a legacy that lives on today.
The Darragh Cup means a tremendous amount to any N Antrim minor hurler taking part in the tournament but to Ruairí Óg CLG, it’s one we always hold dear and try hard to retain.
To John: Ar dheis Dé go
raibh d’anam.
