All membership for GAA/Camogie must now be completed on the new Gaelic Games online system called Foireann (Irish for Team). The new system is now available and open for membership.
This is a simple two-step process: -
1. Firstly, each Adult will need to be separately registered on the Foireann system.
(Including if selecting the Couples or new Family option.) The system can be accessed via the link below.
https://returntoplay.gaa.ie
Some will already have this step completed from last year,
when they completed the health questionnaires under the Covid guidelines.
2. Secondly, after you have registered each adult on the
Foireann system you will then need to logon to the system and purchase a club
membership option for Ruairí Óg CLG. You can combine the individual family
members into the Couples or Family membership options.
As the club have now adopted the ‘One Club’ model for
membership, members can take advantage of this when registering and select a mix
of either Gaa or Camogie for their children in the family category.
At the 2019 AGM it was agreed that the membership costs would be reviewed. The
membership options and prices are: -
• Juvenile Player (GAA or Camogie) £20
• Adult Member (Non-Player) £30
• Adult Player (GAA or Camogie) £40
• Couples (2 adults same address) £50
• Family (2 adults & up to 5 children GAA and/or
Camogie) £100
As well as the benefits of an online membership payment, the
new system will, in future, allow direct contact with members enhancing regular
communication and updates via email and text messages e.g., training/match
times, events, meetings etc.
As with our online Lotto facility we would kindly encourage
those who may not feel comfortable to seek help from a family member.
