Following on from our success in the Rossa Joe Mc Kelvey U12 Tournament on Saturday, some would have thought that was enough hurling for one weekend for our U12’s but the lads, mentors and parents were on the road again today - they packed the gear, made the sandwiches and headed to Dublin for the Na Fianna annual Dermot McNulty Memorial Tournament.
We would like to thank Na Fianna for the invite to their very well organised tournament.
We finished the day as winners, played 4 games, beating Ballyboden St Endas, Na Fianna, Clontarf and then St Finbarrs (Cork). The top two teams played in the final where we faced St Finbarrs which was a very tight game with our boys winning out in the end on a scoreline 5.01 2.04.
This came on top of our U10’s winning the Naomh Gall Pat Sheehan Tournament also played today.
Well done to the players and management of both teams who are due a well earned rest.
