comhghairdeas to our Senior Reserve Hurlers who retained the Bank of Ireland Countess of Antrim Cup and completed a superb three-in-row in this North Antrim competition.
Bank of Ireland Countess of Antrim Cup
Ruairi Og (3-10) v Oisin (2-09)
It was a repeat of last years final with our lads facing Oisin's Seniors and yet again it was the lads in maroon and white coming out on top of another tight game.
This year's win was even more impressive considering that our Senior County players were unavailable for the Senior Feis team resulting in digging deeper into the playing panel which resulted in less players available for the Reserve team and also less players available for the Junior team, who have also made the final and play Loughgiel, which had be rescheduled due to a wedding in the Loughgiel Parish on Saturday.
Well done to the senior management team and the three panels of players. Its delightful to see so many lads, young and old, stepping up to the plate and delivering great performances.
Today it's the turn of our U16 hurlers who play a Dunloy team who beat us in the first league game of the season and recently drew with Ballycastle. So like our semi final v Ballycastle, another tough game with nothing between the teams.
