Well done to our Minor's who played their first game in the Darragh Cup tonight winning on a scoreline of 0.20 to 2.07 against a fine Naomh Padraig team. This was the first Minor game for the newly formed amalgamation of Carey, Armoy & Cushendun.
Both teams had impressive hurlers on show and the match was nip and tuck until the last 15 minutes when some great team play resulted in our lads picking off some fine points. It was a hard, tough but fair exciting game, with Naomh Padraig edging in front of at the start of the second half, and our lads had a great response and ran out worthy winners in the end.

The game was a great advert for the young hurling talent that we have in North Antrim and it was a fitting tribute as today (Weds) is John Darragh's anniversary.
The next game is another tough assignment, away to Dunloy on Friday night.
