Cushendall U14s Win 2013 Division 2 Ulster Feile
Cushendall U14s faced not only their opponent Watty Grahams Maghera but also the elements today in a very entertaining match at the very impressive Owenbeg complex in Dungiven.
The first half saw Watty Graham's take full advantage of the very strong wind and putting immense pressure on the Cushendall back line who battled hard to keep the score down to 0.03 to 0.00 just before the half time whistle Maghera scored the one and only goal conceded by Cushendall through the whole tournament.
The second half saw the tables turn and with the wind on their backs Cushendall took full control and with great determination they tallied a score off 3.02 to Magheras 1.03. This was a very deserving win for a great bunch of young hard working girls. Congratulations to them all.
