Cushendall make it three from three
U16 Camogie League Division 1
Cushendall 4-16 Loughgiel 0-5

A great second half display saw Cushendall record a big win over Loughgiel in Tuesday evening’s U16 Camogie League game at Fr Barrett Park.
The home team opened the scoring with a point from Eimear McKinley but Cushendall hit back with points from Sine Woodhouse and Monique O’Boyle. Loughgiel levelled with a point from Anna McKillop but three in a row from the visitors, plus a goal from corner-forward Niamh McNeill helped them to a 1-6 to 0-3 half time lead.
The second half saw Cushendall girls take control from early on and when McNeill grabbed a second goal in 42 minutes and Woodhouse and O’Boyle also found the net there was no way back for Loughgiel.
Cushendall are now in the driving seat in the league campaign with three wins out of three.
