Senior Manager, Éamon Gillan has indicated that he intends to step aside and will not be putting his name forward for the position in 2021. The Executive Committee respects his decision and would like to place on record our appreciation and gratitude for the immense amount of time and effort Éamon and his team put into taking the 2020 Ruairí Óg senior hurling team in what proved to be a very difficult season due, in no small measure, to the constant doubts and restrictions Covid-19 placed on their plans and schedules. In spite of all that, Éamon and his management team did their very best to prepare the senior team for a very competitive 2020 SHC, qualifying from the group stages and then losing by a single point in the quarter-final to a rejuvenated and very competitive Rossa team.
Once again, go raibh maith agaibh to Éamon and all the members of his management team.
The Executive Committee would like to invite applications for the position of 2021 Ruairí Óg senior hurling manager. Please contact Club Secretary, Martin Magee secretary.ruairiog.antrim@gaa.
