St Mary's Primary School principal, Mrs Smart along with the staff and pupils ensured yet another Ruairí Óg School visit was met with an explosion of Maroon and White colour and ear bursting cheering.
As a club we are blessed to have two such wonderful Primary Schools who help us deliver the GAA message that participation in sport benefits the individual and participation with your local club benefits the whole community. Again thank you to two super schools for allowing us to be involved and we look forward to working with you and the stars of the future in the 2014/15 School year.
A message from St Mary's -
A massive thank you to Ruairi Og Senior Hurlers and past pupils Sambo, Conor, Ryan, Martin & Paddy who arrived at St Mary's today, Friday 3rd October, with the Volunteer Cup. The children have been looking forward to their visit all week and asked lots of questions before a photocall with the Cup and Hurlers. Mrs Smart, on behalf of the whole school, congratulated them all on their fantastic win over St Galls last week to become the SHC County Champions 2014 and wished the team all the very best in their Ulster Semi Final against Slaughtneil on 12th October.
