I have been asked by the Grounds (pitches) Committee to clarify the procedure when looking for pitch availability.
To keep things as simple as possible any pitch that is deemed not fit for matches or training the Grounds Committee Chairman Fergus Mc Naughton will inform the Club Secretary, Martin Magee, who will pass on the information.
All queries from coaches, mentors about pitch availability must only be directed to the Club Secretary and not the Grounds Committee.
The pitches are improving with the recent spell of better weather but a day or two of heavy rain can leave the pitches unplayable again.
The demand for pitch time is increasing as the new season is under way and they have to be protected over the next few weeks so as we have the best surfaces possible for the new season ahead.
