Our thanks also go to Paddy Mc Laughlin who took our visitors on an overseas trip on the Saturday, after a long night of autographs and photographs the Cork men were delighted to have a boat trip to Rathlin Island to visit the site where our U12s had won the Rathlin Shield earlier in the year.
On the Sunday Kieran Kingston took a training session with our Minors. His training drills and words of encouragement must have worked wonders as we recorded a narrow 3.08 to 1.11 victory over Portaferry in the Ulster MHC semi final but stormed to a 5.15 to 0.03 Final win over Shield Winners Cuchulainns Armagh.
Our club is indebted to Kieran and his players for coming up to Cushendall and we will meet them again in Ballycastle in March 2014 for the Antrim v Cork NHL game when things for 70 minutes won't be so friendly, but afterwards the legendary Glens hospitiality will be in full flow again.

Thanks to Sambo Mc Naughton for encouraging the Cork men so far North and also to the rest of the very successful Minor Management team and panel. Well done lads and enjoy the Christmas break.
