For a few years now, I have been working with a local ‘not-for-profit’ group called Grow the Glens to improve employability and promote employment in Cushendun, Cushendall and Glenariffe. We are all aware of the pressure on rural clubs, as families have to move from their area in search of work. Grow the Glens is currently negotiating to acquire the disused Cushendall Police Station and get it transformed into a digital community hub, to be used by businesses and individuals as a space for remote working. To do this, Grow the Glens needs to demonstrate a desire within the community for this development. Please give us your help by getting as many members as possible to complete the survey.
