On Easter Tuesday and Wednesday our club organised a children's Hurling & Camogie Camp from 10am to 2pm. The weather held up and all the children had a great time and the parents were delighted that the club had been proactive in encouraging the children to be active and outdoors during the Easter Holidays.
To further support our club's important role in promoting a healthier and safer community, the key Road Safety messages from the Moyle PCSP of - 'Be Safe Be Seen' was supported by distributing high visible items for the children and adults to wear.
With the better weather and brighter evenings we have more members of our club and community out walking, running and cycling, so the free reflective arm bands, flashing lights, high viz hats and information leaflets were very welcome. Some of the children are pictured with their new road safety items.
We thank Orlaith Quinn from the Moyle PCSP for the free items.
As we are in the Spring season and more and more cyclists are taking to the roads for a healthier lifestyle - please take care when out and about.
Some good advice for cyclists and motorists from Wexford County Council. We all share the road. Let's share the road to zero road deaths.
