An cathaoirleach, Aidan Mc Ateer, would like to thank all the many volunteers for helping with the preparation, organisation and hospitality of today's Christy Ring all Ulster game Antrim v Down in Cushendall.
We were privileged to host two of Antrim's NHL games earlier this season, with a win over Kildare and although we lost to Westmeath Antrim were as good as qualified for the final. Today's victory leaves Páirc Mhuire a happy hunting ground for Antrim this year and we hope that you felt welcome and we hope to see you again in the NHL Divison 1B in 2018.
We are very aware of the many hours training and many miles travelling that you have put in over the winter & Spring months and that you got your just rewards in gaining promotion back to Division 1B and with two wins in the Christy Ring Cup.
We wish Terence and the rest of the management team and the panel of players which includes Paddy Burke, Eoghan Campbell, Neil McManus, Paddy Mc Gill, Conor Carson and Christy Mc Naughton from our own club all the very best in the push for a Christy Ring Final.
