I'd just like to say that next sun after the county final i think it would be a great idea for eveyone to meet at the clubrooms. win, lose or draw. its been a tough year for the club & it seems very appropriate to me that we congregate here to celebrate or commiserate as a club. hopefully it would be a celebration & it would create great memories to have loads of kids out pucking around the pitch & give all the people of the parish a chance to join in. sadly it seems to me that we seem to be one of the very clubs who do not have a tradition of gathering at their field & club rooms when getting to finals. doesnt have to be an all night affair & no doubt the pubs will definitely still get a good touch if we win or not.would be certain valuable few pound for the club that you dont feel bad knocking on doors for funds.after all the pitch & club rooms is where it all started & it really was a sight to watch the crowds at loughguiles the last few years. perhaps the committee could get their heads together & organise something?

Congratulations to the Cushendall U-10 hurlers on winning the Liam Magee Memorial Cup, played in Dunloy today. Thank you and mentors for your participation.
It's an honour to play for the Liam Magee Memorial Cup. As always Dunloy run a fabulous event. Our team were beaten in the U12 Final and U10 Championship Semi-Finals so it's great for the boys to experience the emotions of being successful. Some you win some you lose but it's about having fun whilst developing as young hurlers.

I recently bought a ticket for the minor fundraising draw, but later I noticed the draw date was 7th august, is this an oversight or has the draw been made?
The draw was delayed as some of the minors had yet to sell their tickets. It was drawn by our past chairman, Fergus Mc Naughton on the pitch after our last Senior League game on 24th August at home to Ballycran.
Winners were
1st Prize Paddy Sharpe Snr
2nd Prize Ruairí Sharpe
3rd Prize Paddy Sharpe Snr
As you can see Fergus didn't do a great job at spreading the winners around, needs to 'sharpen up' on his ticket drawing skills.
Apologies for the delay in posting the winners details.
Thank you for supporting the draw and the best of luck to the minors in the Minor Final on Saturday in Ballymena.

Fantastic performance yesterday by our senior hurlers and management, pride passion and commitment from a blend of young and old(er), 3 of the qualities which our proud club is built on. Long way to go but a big step in the right direction. Ruairi Og abu

Nothing won yet - keep up the hard work.

Well done on the fantastic result and performance of our senior hurlers today. You have all definitely made me a happier man here in Orlando, Florida.
